Perfume challenge   Written by BarbaraB (2/9/2013 7:14 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Project Runway: The Heidi challenge (spoilers), penned by Sarah Hannah [Back to Board]
Are you new?

If they keep up with the same teams into the next show and the Dream Team doesn't win, I would think they would need to do something---mix it up as Heidi likes to say. And somewhere along the way she does say it because I've seen it in the trailers but can't be sure what she is referring to.,..

Speaking of teams, I'm with you about them looking out for each other. I can't believe Richard's team let him send his dress out with that gaggle of ruffles or whatever that were gushing from the side of his dress like that. It wouldn't have been such a disaster if he'd removed them. Normally, Keeping It Real is really good about helping each other so I don't know what happened here. Even he realized what a mess it was when he saw it on the runway.

I didn't get Michelle's claim that her team was holding her back either.

I like Patricia's work so far but I would like to see something different from her. And, Ben, what a wreck. I've been really disappointed so far; he comes off as so capable but just hasn't been able to deliver to the level of what would seem to be his potential. I thought his design was really nice but he just fell apart and was unable to execute it. Yikes, just a mess, he and the dress both.

Poor Tu, whenever he managed to get on camera I was like, oh yeah, he's on the show too (no pun intended). And another one is, I believe her name is Samantha. They could both use more camera time. I agree, I kind of forget about them until I see them.

I liked Kate and Layana's gown. I remember being impressed when I saw Kate's video, that at her age, she was already working on having her own bridal grown business. (I don't remember but I believe she did other work too. Still, IIRC bridal gowns seemed to be her first love.) This should be a big boost for her. Imagine the possibility of having a poster in the shop and/or a photo on her website of Heidi wearing her gown.

And Daniel, what a sweetie. One of the nicest designers to appear on the show and talented as well. I hope he make it to finals.
