One of my favorites for 20+ years! Written by Michelle-Julia (1/29/2013 8:40 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Original "Upstairs, Downstairs" series, penned by Jennifer Louise

I'm so glad for you that you've discovered this. As for that slow pacing, the more you get used to it, the more you'll appreciate how much depth the stories and characters have. (Not like the bang bang bang plotting of another period show that I shall refrain from naming.) I'll post more about why I like it so much when I have more time tomorrow.
