I suppose in a "pop culture" movie that isn't aiming for historical accuracy I shouldn't care...but I can't help it. I just can't get into a movie once historical anachronisms reach a certain critical mass. Wrong dates? Wrong harp? Gum balls? Noooo! It's like the llamas in Troy. Once we caught that brief glimpse of the llamas...it was all over for me. Lol.

I've noticed this bothers me a lot more in "serious" movies. I don't mind historic silliness in comedies.
