I think O'Brien is going in for the kill with Thomas. She's trying to get him fired once & for all, with as much drama, embarrassment & scandal as possible. She wants to utterly ruin him. Did she learn nothing from the soap-slipping fiasco? She seemed to regret it in the short term, but all appears to be forgotten now.
