In agreement also   Written by BarbaraB (1/22/2013 11:05 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Project Runway All Stars: Finale (spoilers), penned by Sarah Hannah [Back to Board]
Are you new?

I, too, thought or was at least hoping that Uli had a legitimate shot. I liked her collection the best and you're right, her styling was great.

This season I've been an Emilio fan and was hoping it would work out for him. I was worried when it was taking so long for him to get something on the dress form. The first thing I could remember seeing was the top of a red garment on the form in the distance from the doorway. Just that piece was beautiful and I had a leap of hope. I felt that if that was representative of his entire collection, he might have a chance. His final collection wasn't bad but it didn't live up to that glimpse of the red garment on the form. He has certainly matured since his original season and I was impressed with his growth and elimination interview.

Anthony Ryan---I think Isaac was a big influence. It became especially evident that he was pulling for AR the week when the other judges were critical of AR's dress (?) and Isaac had that little boy pouty rant about how good AR's work was because the others did not agree and I guess he was worried about him being eliminated. He had to see that it was a piece of junk. Too be fair there have been several pieces that he has done that I liked very much but he did become repetitious and some pieces weren't very good at all. I didn't think his final collection was worthy of a win in and of itself. That blocking is very 'now' but I just wasn't impressed with the collection and it just looked like the same thing over and over with a bit of tweaking here and there in each outfit.

I so wanted to believe Uli had a chance but when she was eliminated first, I felt the handwriting was on the wall.

I don't always agree with the chosen winner but in general I still like the show and I am looking forward to the next regular season as well. Thanks for all your fun posts!
