Gilbert Gottfried was the perfect person to have on the show. Someone's got to be eliminated in the first episode, and you might as well have someone who obviously can't cook but has the right attitude about it all.

I especially appreciated his comment at the end when discussing the charity he represented, The Gift of Laughter: The Friars Foundation Wounded Warriors Program. He acknowledged that comedy wasn't a cure-all but that "If you can make someone in a tragic situation laugh or smile, tragedy just kind of loses it's grip for a moment."
