Simon Russell Beale & Philliip Seymour Hoffman   Written by Jezkalyn (1/4/2013 4:10 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Most versatile actor, penned by Rae Elaine [Back to Board]
Are you new?

Interpreting the term "versatile" as an actor who can do many things competently, I choose Simon Russell Beale and what I like to think of as his American quasi-doppleganger, Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Both can do anything. Hand either of them any role, contemporary or classical, film or TV or stage, even if they appear to be miscast in it and they will will make the role their own.

That is what I call versatility! ;-)
