Hey, I'm the one who wanted Ingrid w/Bogie (Spoilers) Written by Terry R (12/3/2012 1:50 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, My absolute favourite (spoilers), penned by Golda

...at the end of CASABLANCA! LOL! So, despite the sad consequences of two broken marriages, my heart wants them to be together. Life is too short. They are both in "dead" relationships." Take happiness while you can. But, realistically, I don't believe they do see each other again.

Yes, you're right about everything -- it is melancholy and bittersweet and sad in so many ways. But, still I manage to enjoy the lighthearted parts, their chemistry, the meeting of their minds and the fun they have. I enjoy watching kindred spirits who, at first glance, seem so utterly mismatched.

I definitely plan to get the DVD. I'll either buy it myself or put it on my Christmas wish list. Still debating.
