Both over-rated and one of the best, IMO   Written by Nuria (11/23/2012 2:58 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, It was good...(spoilers), penned by Eirene [Back to Board]
Are you new?

I enjoyed it too quite a lot. IMO it is both over-rated and one of the best Bond scripts…because if one thinks of it, most Bond films lack a decent script (although most are fun for other reasons).

I agree, it’s a good film on its own. So where´s the flaw?

A male friend enlightened me…the baddie has a very low target. He doesn´t want to destroy the world, even a city, or nuclear weapons. He just wants to kill his boss :DDD
For me it´s like a ‘minor’ Bond movie, because it was so intimate, but it´s one of the best, because the action scenes are taken seriously (I love that), and there´s interaction between the characters of the franchise.

And one of the best points of the film too…the bond girl…is MoneyPenny!!! Loved the Aston Martin too :)
One thing I didn´t like: John Cleese dissappeared from the movies without waving goodbye. :(

Another huge flaw, IMO, was the "bad" girl. Didn´t make sense what she does. Good actress, anyway, that´s an improvement over so many others, who were there only for their beauty...and some like Grace Jones, not even for that!
