GR: the confession   Written by Jenny Allan (9/15/2003 5:29 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Willoughby's "Confession" Scene (Obscenely Long), penned by Monica C.
Are you new?

The confession shocked me when I read it. Shocked me because I didn't expect Willoughby to show up there; shocked me with the absolute heartlessness of Willoughby. When it started, I thought maybe there really will be two sides to the story, but as he continued he just made himself look worse with every explanation. The fact that Elinor was momentarily taken in by his charms made me think less of her for a bit too.
