Speaking of SUTH   Written by MiriB (9/1/2003 3:32 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: John Dashwood, penned by Yvonne T.

I had a strong urge to give John a SUTH, when after Elinor told him how well the were being treated by the Middletons he anwered: "But so it ought to be; they are people of large fortune, they are related to you, and every civility, and accommodation that can serve to make your situation pleasant, might be reasonably expected." The standards of behavior he expects from others he does not bother to fulfill himself.
