Are you new?

] I've never been a real Marianne fan, but I've also never really, actively disliked her, as I'm finding myself doing this read.

Perhaps we could work out some sort of mathematical formula for how this happens--like one's dislike of Marianne is inversely proportional to one's admiration for Colonel Brandon? As one realizes more and more his worthiness, it becomes harder and harder to put up with Marianne's (early) behaviour?
