GR: Marianne   Written by Jean B (8/22/2003 5:25 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: Disliking Marianne, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

] Yes, Marianne's self-censor mode is permanently in the off position, isn't it?

I had not thought about it, but you are absolutely correct, Marianne's "dramatic" nature seems to give her licence to throw tact to the four winds. She runs over people's feelings willy-nilly without a thought of who she is hurting. Being on the far side of 45, I can imagine how her comments make Brandon and her mother feel. I need to go back to see if she ever edits herself successfully (ie. in her dealings with Elinor and Edward).

I had also not registered that she was the product to a second attachment...she is insufferable, but with this new thought, I look forward to seeing what happens next.
