I thought Mrs Dashwood was very harsh with Elinor. Elinor asked Mrs Dashwood to find out if her sister was engaged to Willoughby.

She accuses Elinor of lack of compassion, feelings and a multitude of other sins.

I am disturbed by this chapter as it throws everyone into a bad light. Willoughby, Mrs Dashwood, Marrianne.
