GR: An impudent woman   Written by Art (8/20/2003 12:27 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: The Annoying Mrs. Jennings, penned by Cheryl

] She downright badgers Col. Brandon about his letter, makes sly inuendos about the subject of it; she deceminates the "facts" about Col. Brandon's "natural daughter"; she spreads the tale of Marianne's heartbreak far and wide; she has great fun over the fact that Edward's name begins with an "F"...

Sounds like impudence to me. Which makes for delicious irony when she calls Willoughby "Mr. Impudence" in chapter 13. Look who's talking! (Although come to think of it, she does have considerable expertise in that area ... ;-) )
