Edward at Barton Cottage   Written by Annette J. (8/18/2003 6:36 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Witty Edward, penned by MiriB
Are you new?

Have always had some trouble with this section, as amongst the witty lines JA indicates that he is cold and reserved, and makes little distinction between E & her sister as they are walking along the country path. He does start to thaw out after he is greeted by Mrs. Dashwood, and also displays more good humor thoughout the rest of the visit. Now that I think about it, I believe I can see some forshadowing here, but will not include a spoiler.
