] Is it only me, or does anyone else think that Mr Palmer and Sir John Middleton each should have married the other Miss Jennings?

I'm quite a fan of Mr Palmer so to put him with Lady Middleton would be just horrifying!

What's more I think Lady Middleton would be quite as horrified herself, if her husband sat in the corner reading a newspaper and didn't say a word, leaving _her_ the sole enjoyment of talking about the weather!
