GR: Sir John and his wife   Written by Lynn Maureen (8/14/2003 10:38 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR--The Ever-Affable Sir John, penned by BarbaraB
Are you new?

Put them on a scale: the John Dashwoods and Lady Middleton, all three, with their so-called good breeding on one side and Sir John, somewhat uncouth, on the other side by himself. Whoa! Sir John's side drops with the excessive weight of goodness, generosity and genuineness.

I can't understand the attraction between Sir John and his wife. Maybe she is different behind closed doors?
