Marianne and her opinions   Written by Dagmar (8/12/2003 3:26 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: S.U.T.H.-ing Marianne, Part I, penned by Vianne
Are you new?

She is very headstrong girl isn't she?

The passages where Marianne talkes aboat Edward and later aboat C. Brandon make her look like very unappealing but you have to remember that she is so young, barely seventeen.

She is smart, she has read a lot and she believes in herself. But she is also blinded in her own opinions and sees everything and everybody through her eyes. Although she tries to understand others (f.ex. Elinor and Edward) she really can't see anything outside her own world.

I hope eventually she will grow out of it like all teenagers :-)
