] Ok sometimes she may be a pest to poor CB, exposing his feelings for Marianne etc but I think she is a wonderful comical creation of JA's!

I adore her. Not only is she a wonderful comic character, but she has a truly good heart, even if she is ridiculous at times. She tries hard to be good to the Dashwood girls. Barbara said in the Sir John thread below, that she is annoyed with the Dashwoods for not appreciating his efforts, and I feel the same way about Mrs. Jennings. She is a good soul.
