GR - Sir John   Written by Deborah d'Bajor (8/11/2003 11:12 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: Fussing sportsman, penned by Vianne
Are you new?

I seem to remember reading an introduction to S&S that likend Sir John to Mr Weston in Emma in that they are both determined to give party "though the skies fall".

I always rather liked that expression!

As he can't hunt all day and is of a very sociable disposition I think his attempts to procure company are genuine. Even he must find his wife a little insipid!
