Well, I have to admit that SUTH to Fanny was considered, but younger Mrs. Dashwood is just plain greedy, selfish and cold-hearted. A SUTH to Fanny would not make her better (although she would deserve one), she would just SUTH me back with "quiet civility" :-)

John D. needs to wake up and see what he is doing - leaving his sisters in powerty, breaking a death-bed promise to his father and being genually a marionette in Fannys hands.
