Similiar story   Written by Debra Mc (8/9/2003 12:13 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, in college, penned by Candice Michelle
Are you new?

As a non-traditional (read Older) student, I was taking English Seminars to counter balance my Pysch classes and my Education Classes. In other words, I needed to take classes with assigned works of lit to read for pleasure. My teacher for the era when Austin is introduced had done her doctoral thesis on our dear Jane, and really had great class discussions around P&P. I ended up minoring in English Lit - a degree created just for me, as I had the credits, but the University did not offer a minor, and the dept head took pity on me - but I digress. At the end of that quarter, I went to Barnes and Noble and bought all of Jane's books. I read S&S then and have not re-read it since. That was 1995. It is high time, and I am looking forward to it.

Like Barbara, I know when school begins, my time will be limited, and I will be out of town for most of the first week, but I am REALLY looking forward to this!
