LOL!   Written by Ingrid Linnéa (8/8/2003 5:40 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, thanks to a faulty gall bladder...., penned by Lisa Dalrymple
Are you new?

I had read P&P when I tried to study english at university in 1971. I just loved it, and began looking for everything I could find of or about JA. In Sweden that isn´t always easy, but after a couple of years I had found all her novels (and Lady Susan/The Watsons/Sanditon, some Juvenilia etc.)

I have also read some of them in Swedish, but most of the translations just aren´t good. Pity, she would be much more popular here if they were.

One of the first that I read was S&S. I didn´t love it just as much as P&P, but it is one of my favourites. It´s got such depths, and still is sometimes so funny. Like all of JA:s books of course.
