John Dashwood mentions 'the Norfolk estate' (but not 'one of the Norfolk estates') in chapter 37. I assume that it's not the principal family property, seeing as how its value is only about twice what Mrs Ferrars eventually gives to Edward and Elinor and considers small.
How spread out would families' property portfolios be? If they were usually quite localised, I'd guess that the principal Ferrars estate would exist, and would be in a county adjacent to Norfolk.
