We do call the 1971 adaptation S&S0 :-)   Written by kathleen (elder) (2/7/2013 3:20 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, the S&S-s, penned by Rae Elaine
Are you new?

In fact, we list it by that # in the S&S Board FAQ (linked at the top of the S&S Board).

Some of us also refer to it as the Poldark version of S&S, because the actors who played Ross Poldark (Robin Ellis) and Francis Poldark (Clive Francis) play, respectively, Edward Ferrars and Willoughby. Another familiar actor/actress is Patricia Routledge as Mrs Jennings -- she is now familiar as Hyacinth Bucket (Boo kay!!) from Keeping Up Appearances. I like this adaptation a good bit. :-)
