edits and cuts   Written by Rae Elaine (2/7/2013 1:46 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, S&S2 screenplay vs. film ending, penned by Kristina F
Are you new?

So many good movies are ruined by cutting them to fit some two-hour theater seat time. The "deleted scenes" part is a very informative part of a DVD, because it reveal how much better the product would be if the DVD producers would have put those cut scenes back into the movie. It also prove that it can be done.

I looked at an S&S2 script (from Drew's Script-o-rama http://www.script-o-rama.com/snazzy/dircut.html , but that URL may not pull up the file straight-away, because that does not change in the browsers command field) and noted how much was cut throughout. Sometimes the delete is only a shot, others are more substantial. Either way, I think denying the deleted scenes that could be back in for the DVD is a cheat.

Of course, the best example of abuse by cut is the 2004 rendition of the /Alamo/. However, this is not the channel for canvassing that matter.
