Has anyone read, The Real Jane Austen: A Life in Small Things by Paula Byrne? I haven't read it, but was wondering if it is worth a read. The author, apparently, shows how Jane Austen was not the demure or relatively reclusive woman her family tried to portray. The author believes that Jane was well traveled and had a worldly knowledge unlike many women of her time.
True? Not true? I'd appreciate any feedback.
