Portsea is where I imagine the Prices to have lived..an explosion of jerry-building that increased the population of Portsmouth by almost twenty thousand in just over a decade.

Whilst I am sure that JA probably was given a tour of Portsmouth, she was entering a military station and would probably have had to have been escorted. Somehow, I don't seee her ,and her mother, being allowed to see everything that went on, no.
