Ladies...   Written by Captain Everett (3/9/2003 11:06 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Oh, go play a jig, Linden!!!, penned by Caroline
Are you new?

Thanks for coming to my support, Caroline, it is appreciated. Typos aren't usually a issue on any the Boards. If we start nitpicking too much, nobody would be posting. However, it is something I usually try to avoid.

I admit, I *was* getting a bit lazy after researching and writing up the last installment (Part 3). For the other sections (and usually when I'm writing something running several pages), I wrote it up "Word". This allows for spellcheck, etc. I then print a hardcopy and proofread it - much easier to spot errors that way than off the monitor. Than I can paste it onto the Board. I didn't do it in this case, just glanced over the screen, with a "good enough" reaction. Perhaps not a big issue on a fairly informal site like this, but I don't think it matched my *own* standards, either.

'nuff said,
I remain,
Jason E.
