JA and science   Written by Linden (3/5/2003 8:02 p.m.)
Are you new?

I'm trying to find out about the scientific knowledge that JA had, and so far I've drawn a blank in terms of anything published: by far the best resource I've come across is the Monthly Topic on science we did a while ago. Has anyone got any further suggestions? Hasn't someone, somewhere, ever published a book called something on the lines of `Science in the world of Jane Austen'? No, at least nothing that I've been able to track down.
