Well, what a Henry?   Written by Linden (2/26/2003 12:42 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Jane's meet with 'Phylly' Walter, penned by Leif G-n
Are you new?

] It has been said that Henry was her favourite brother.

] I think that may be true. Henry was also diffent from the rest of the brothers. He was a restless soul. Jumped from one profession to another. It's often said that Jane was a calm and amiable person when grown up. I suspect that was only on the surface. Underneath she had the same restless soul as her brother Henry.

I get the feeling -- does anyone share it with me? -- that Jane was in two minds about Brother Henry. Half of her loved the wit and exuberance, while the other half had doubts about it. And so we have her own two Henries, Tilney and Crawford: similar characters in many ways, but one showing the good side and the other the bad.
