] ] His younger sister Leonora for instance,what happened to her? The only information I find is that she never married and still lived in 1769. I find it sad when I read the so often repeated "d.unm."

Thanks for expanding on Jane's aunt of whom I'd never heard! I'd only read one biography (David Nokes) and Leonora is not mentioned at all! (Although Nokes gave quite a bit of emphasis to other overlooked relatives such as Jane's brother George.)
