William Walter   Written by bridget D (3/17/2013 4:16 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Mr Elliot, penned by Nikki N
Are you new?

I wouldnt use the word "evil" too freely, because I think that it is problaby too extreme, but Mr E is certainly the villain and yes I agree that he is one of the worse villains. He leads Mr Smith inot extravagance which is bad but stll Mr S has some responsibilty for that. But in refusing to help a sick widow he is thoroughly nasty and badly behaved. Seducing Mrs Clay and planning to drop her is pretty bad. Plotting ot keep Sir Walt single is unpleasant.. he has plenty of money and has earlier sneered at the ELliots so why does he need the title and estates as well?
