British Critic quite severe (spoilers)

I thought the British Critic quite severe on Persuasion, dismissing it in just three sentences! I absolutely love Persuasion and for me this review does not do it justice at all! It almost seems as if the reviewer hasn't read it, or else he (I can only assume it to be a man) would have had better things to say about it. I think that the characters are more rounded and mature, and there is a lot of hidden emotions, not found in any of the other novels.
