Hey, ho, another novel idea   Written by Linden (4/25/2003 6:41 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Isabella---Could She Be Redeemed?, penned by BarbaraB
Are you new?

] I spoke earlier of wondering if there might be any possible redemption for Isabella.

JA, as a good Christian, no doubt believed that everyone could be redeemed. But it would take a whole nother novel to do it. The essential thing is that she would need to realise her faults, as Marianne and Emma do in Other Books by the Same Author. What would make her realise this?

Could we imagine her falling in love with James Morland too late, and realising what she threw away from her desire to catch Captain Tilney?
