This is my second read of NA and my first Group Read :). I've been reading all the posts since the beginning of the Group Read but haven't posted until recently. I didn't want to say something stupid with all these well-read people around! But I love hearing people's interpretation of difficult passages. I'm still vague on the subtext of "learning to love a Hyacinth", but at least I can go back and reread that post until it's clearer! Or go to Life and Times for further explanation on the meaning of a flower. I love finding out what breeches-ball, coquelicot, Rumford, snuffing, etc... meant. What's fun is everytime I re-read JA I get a new meaning and a new understanding.

Also, above, someone noticed that Isabella's always calling Captain Tilney by his surname (Tilney says this..Tilney says that...) I didn't see the "forest for the trees" on that one as I was so wrapped up in the action of the scene. That's what I like about a group read; If I don't catch it someone else will. I like hearing different points of view and theories on the reason behind the characters' actions that I'd never imagine on my own.
