because I absolutely agree. Most of the good things we hear about James are Catherine's descriptions and thoughts about him. His reported actions tend to be a bit boorish and not very discerning, IMO. Just the fact that he is friends with JT is proof of this.

Whereas Frederick seems to me guilty of nothing worse than being prepared to respond to an obvious flirt.
