Wimp is too good a word for him   Written by Tara O'Donnell (4/20/2003 7:53 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, The Genral is a Wimp!, penned by BarbaraB
Are you new?

] I remembered that the General had booted Catherine out which is bad enough but I had forgotten that he didn't do it himself. I couldn't believe that he sent Eleanor to do his duty for him. Poor Eleanor, I really felt for her having to do something that she thought was so dreadful.

True-it is an appalling sign of his character that he doesn't have the nerve to send CM packing himself. Also,it shows just how much he values his daughter, treating her like a servant who must "clean up" after her master,GRR,ARGGH!

] Yes, this is not due to any credit on the General's part who sent her off unaccompanied! It doesn't matter what he thought of Catherine. Even if the misinformation he had received had been true, the idea is inexcusable on any level. It is fortunate that nothing happened to her.

As a parent, the General should've atleast had the decency to make sure she got home safely-a very bad business, indeed!
