GR: Mrs Morland   Written by Cheryl (4/20/2003 4:00 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Catherine's mother, penned by Rae
Are you new?

] Mrs Morland in this section reminds me so much of my mother, especially the bit where she observes Catherine's behaviour and goes off to get an improving book that she thinks might help her!! And then that she lays it aside for another time when it is not needed.

She is such a practical, no nonsense, let's get on with it kind of woman, isn't she? She gives Catherine two days to get over herself and then takes steps to remedy the problem.

I don't think the improving book would have soothed Catherine at all. ;-)
