I like Catherines's mother too   Written by Ceilti (4/20/2003 11:44 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Catherine's mother, penned by Rae
Are you new?

I especially like the fact that the Morelands, expecially Mrs. Moreland give Catherine space both to absorb what has happened and to tell them in her own good time the details of her ordeal.

My mother also would have seen I needed some solitude but if she felt I was dwelling too much on things she always resorted to the lobrary to offer me the benefit of other's experience.

I can all too well imagine another family badgering Catherine into revealing her experience before she was ready or forcing her into a recitation of her humiliation.
