The quote continues: Catherine guesses!   Written by Elena (4/15/2003 2:39 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: Signs of Smittenhood, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

] Henry talking to Catherine about Frederick's motives "...your attributing my brother's wish of dancing with Miss Thorpe to good nature alone convinced me of your being superior in good nature yourself to all the rest of the world. "

You should continue the quote without stopping for breath. "Catherine blushed and disclaimed, and the gentleman's predictions were verified. There was a something, however, in his words which repaid her for the pain of confusion; and that something (italics mine) occupied her mind so much that she drew back for some time, forgetting to speak or to listen, and almost forgetting where she was."

] And of course his just general enjoyment in her company. I don't think we can say he has completely fallen yet, but he is teetering, is he not? ;-)

At least JA is making us in love with Catherine so much that we know: all nice people, Henry including, couldn't fail to do the same.
