GR: Henry's fault(s)   Written by Kristen G. (4/14/2003 6:51 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: Henry's shortcomings?, penned by Christiana
Are you new?

Henry has often been compared to Elizabeth Bennet, but I think he shares his major fault with another JA heroine ~ he has a disposition to think a little too well of himself. He knows that he is really witty, usually (mentally) above most of his company...and Catherine might be part of his "cure"~ though she isn't as brilliant as he is, he realizes her sweetness and good nature should be as highly prized as his wit.

I also think that he can be somewhat cynical, which again is balanced out by Catherine..but on this point, I would rather wait until spoilers can be posted. :-)
