] ...but from the earlier posts I assumed they were talking about Henry telling Elinor how he felt.
Do you think he would really have to tell her outright? Henry's feelings may not be as obvious as Catherine's, but surely Eleanor would be able to make a pretty good guess at them. Especially as they seem so very close to one another.
It just occured to me that this contrasts neatly with James and Catherine. It is plain to just about anybody else breathing ;-)that there's something in the air around James and Isabella, but Catherine is utterly clueless. Yet she isn't without sense. How did JA do that? :-)
