] This time around I am noticing more of Henry’s attention to Catherine. I think he is really starting to like her. He is trying to please & amuse her; he is seeking her company & her good opinion at least as much as she seeks his.

Yes, Henry is starting to like Catherine. I think he was trying to please and amuse her even at the beginning of their acquaintance. But he is realising now that he likes her.
