There is no delicacy in the Swedish translation of
Thorpe’s D--- it
Here are a few examples from chapter 7

…but I am cursed tired of it. Oh! d---, said I
Swedish “but I am darned tired of it. Well I’ll be damned, said I “

Oh! d--- it, when one has the means of..!
Swedish “Oh, (left out) when you are in a position.”

My horse. Oh d--- it!
Swedish “My horse. No, hang it “
