GR: Henry in love?   Written by Cheryl (4/6/2003 4:32 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR:Catherine's attractive ignorance, penned by Kresel
Are you new?

] "But Catherine did not know her own advantages--did not know that a good-looking girl, with an affectionate heart and a very ignorant mind, cannot fail of attracting a clever young man, unless circumstances are particularly untoward."

I made a note after this passage wondering if this is when Henry begins to fall in love with Catherine. JA seems to be signaling such a thing, and there is no doubt that Henry enjoys Catherine's company. But does he enjoy her or having an audience for his wit and instruction?
