Wonderful   Written by Laura Dawn (4/4/2003 9:16 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR Through my daughter's eyes, penned by Elaine G
Are you new?

] What a revelation to see it through my 12-year-old daughter's eyes. She's sweet, kind and doesn't know much about the world yet. And her name is Catherine.

A lucky coincidence! Your very own JA heroine in your own life!

] While reading Henry's words she would often be astonished at the way he teases Catherine. She's never met anyone like him before. Now I see the reason why CM is attracted to Henry. She's never met anyone like him before.

JA's particular skill here was to write a hero so well suited to her heroine. Your daughter's reaction is so interesting - it just proves that he is the kind of man that a sweet young person would take to. I myself read NA at age 16, and fell instantly in love with Henry! He must be a good teen pin-up ;)

Here's hoping when your little Catherine brings a beau home he's just like Henry! Her reactions to the characters show a good taste and jusdgement in her!
