GR - A horrid thought! ;-)   Written by CarolTS (4/3/2003 11:09 p.m.)
Are you new?

I was just rereading Ch. 8 and during the dance where Mrs. Hughes comes and places Elinor next to Catherine, she mentions that she had looked for Isabella to place her next to but couldn't find her. That's when the terrible thought crossed my mind - what if Mrs. Hughes had actually found Isabella and placed poor Elinor next to her? I can't imagine that they would have anyting in common - anything to talk about! And even worse - what if she thought that Catherine was like Isabella after talking to her (and observing her) for that line dance?
