That's the word - Infatuation   Written by Mary Fran (4/3/2003 12:10 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Oh Yes...Without Question, I Think, penned by Rebecca Nix
Are you new?

] She's completely infatuated - as is sometimes the way with teenage girls - before she even realizes that she's been bitten by the love bug. Oh, I believe our dear Miss Morland was completely taken with Mr. Tilney from the very first conversation. His wit and mysterious charm swept her off her little inexperienced feet.

Being only 20 and single, I am still in this stage where this can happen rather quickly. I wouldn't call it the "love bug" just yet, but infatuation is the way to go. I got the impression from JA's text (I will not requote here) that Catherine did not really know how to take his first conversation, though. Subconciously she was infatuated, but her head was unready to take that step and admit it to herself. Not that she needed to; Isabella (who NASUTH, I agree with Leann) practically tells her anyway.
